Terms of sale
These Terms of Sale apply to products purchased from TimberPawsCo.
Product Orders
By placing an order, you are offering to purchase the selected products under these Terms.
After checkout, you may receive an automated order confirmation. An automated confirmation acknowledges receipt of the order but does not always constitute final acceptance.
We accept an order when we confirm acceptance, begin approved custom production, or dispatch the product.
Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
Because many products are handmade, stock levels and production times may change. We may contact you if a product or material becomes unavailable and offer an alternative, delay, or refund.
Handmade Products
Natural wood and handmade construction result in individual variations.
Variations in grain, shape, knots, texture, color, and minor measurements are part of the character of a handcrafted product and are not defects when they do not materially affect safety or intended use.
Product images are illustrative. The exact materials and features may vary by model and are listed on each product page.
Custom Orders
Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving customization information, including dimensions, colors, materials, names, or requested features.
Changes may not be possible after production has started. Customized and made-to-order products are generally final sale except when damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise returnable under mandatory law.
Prices
The price charged is the price displayed and confirmed during checkout, subject to correction of obvious errors.
Shipping charges, taxes, duties, and additional services may be charged separately.
If a material pricing error affects an order, we may contact you for approval of the corrected price or cancel and refund the order.
Payment
Full payment is generally required before processing or production begins.
You confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and that the billing information provided is accurate.
Delivery
Delivery estimates are provided according to our Shipping Policy.
Customers must provide safe and reasonable access for delivery of oversized products. Additional fees caused by unsuccessful delivery attempts, refused packages, inaccessible locations, or incorrect addresses may be charged where permitted.
Inspection After Delivery
Inspect the packaging and product promptly after delivery.
Report visible damage, missing parts, or incorrect items as soon as possible and include supporting photographs or videos.
Failing to report immediately does not remove rights that cannot legally be waived, but timely notice helps us investigate carrier damage and provide a faster solution.
Assembly and Safe Use
Some products require customer assembly.
Customers must:
- Follow the assembly instructions
- Use all required parts and fasteners
- Place the product on a flat and stable indoor surface
- Tighten and inspect fittings regularly
- Keep the product away from excessive moisture or heat
- Stop using the product if it becomes unstable or damaged
Children should not climb or play on cat furniture. Pets should be supervised when first using a new product.
TimberPawsCo is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect assembly, unauthorized modification, misuse, neglect, or failure to inspect and maintain the product, to the extent permitted by law.
Returns and Refunds
Returns, cancellations, refunds, and replacements are governed by our Refund and Return Policy.
Nothing in these Terms restricts mandatory consumer rights.
Warranty and Legal Guarantees
Products are expected to match their description and be reasonably suitable for their intended purpose.
Where applicable law provides mandatory warranties or legal guarantees, those protections remain in effect.
Any voluntary remedy we provide does not reduce mandatory legal rights.
Resale
Products are sold for personal or household use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
You may not purchase products for unauthorized commercial resale, export, or distribution.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability relating to a product will not exceed the amount paid for that product, except where such a limitation is prohibited.
We do not exclude liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, personal injury caused by legally actionable negligence, or any obligation that cannot legally be limited.
Governing Law
These Terms of Sale are governed by Florida law and applicable U.S. federal law, while preserving mandatory consumer protections available in the customer’s jurisdiction.
