Assembly instructions

Each cat tree is unique. The trunks have grown naturally, so each cat tree is disassembled slightly differently. This guide is general and explains the most important steps. We always recommend having someone help you assemble large cat trees. It's easier if someone can support the individual trunks and components while you screw them together.

TOOLS REQUIRED:

With a simple set of Torx keys and a hammer, you already have everything you need for assembly.

Alternatively, you can use a ratchet or a cordless screwdriver with suitable Torx attachments.

Step 1 — Sort the parts

Unpack the cat tree and sort the numbered parts according to their corresponding screws. It's best to repeat this process with each individual post and its screw connections. The screw heads are marked on the underside.

Step 2 — Prepare the base plate

Start with the base plate. Screw the large screws in slightly from below, so that only the tips protrude about one centimeter from the top of the base plate, allowing you to attach the trunk. The screws for the base plate are labeled alphabetically.

Step 3 — Attach the lower trunks

Place the lower sections of the logs onto the screw tips and begin tightening them. Please observe the markings and alignment on the base plate and on the logs (arrows). The individual screws must always be screwed in a few centimeters alternately.

Step 4 — Build upward (For trees over 120 cm)

Now you can assemble the cat tree from the bottom up. The disassembled posts are all numbered, and the correct orientation is indicated by arrows. Place the loose parts of the posts onto the already screwed-together sections and secure them with the small screws. The pre-wound sisal rope can now simply be wrapped around the disassembled section. Now tighten everything securely and finally nail the end of the rope in place with a staple (clamp).

Step 5 — Add platforms & resting places

Once all the logs are screwed together and erected, you can begin assembling the platforms and resting places. The platforms, screws, and holes are all numbered for this purpose.

Step 6 — Fit the covers

Now you just need to distribute the covers on the plates and trays. You can identify the correct covers by their size and the slits on the sides.
